Flooding Leaves Sediment Behind

Sometimes the biggest challenge with water damage mitigation is what you find after the water has been removed.  Most often its mold, but in this case the flood waters left behind a fine layer of sediment on the floor after the water had been extracted.

It took our technicians several hours of cleaning with the hepa vac to get up the fine sandy soil that can often be present in these Orchard Beach communities. The rain waters had flowed into the home when the sump pump stopped working.  

After many many cleanings we were finally able to get the fine silt off the floor and cleaned to the satisfaction of the customer.
